Brendon Burns Live
07:30 PM Sunday 25 October - PAVEIF.COMEDY (Perrier) WINNER 2007
"Simply a legend in the making…sparkling stuff" - The Guardian
Banned from the BBC for kissing a goat on live TV, walked off the set of I'm a Celebrity in just three days, Burns is the stuff of comic legend. Renowned as the noisy, manic and in-your-face bad boy from Australia. Burns's stock-in-trade is gratuitous offence; he loves shock tactics and splintering taboos, but rather than attack specific groups, much like his fellow agent provocateur Jerry Sadowitz, Burns dishes it out to everyone in equal measure. His approach means that he is continually throwing up questions - both of himself and of the audience, on subjects most comedians would shy away from.
"He`s honestly the best thing I`ve seen in a long long time" - The Times
“He will jump-start your brain, crack your ribs with laughter and blind you with your own tears. Again Brendon Burns has proven why he is the best at what he does." - The Scotsman
