07:30 PM Tuesday 27 October - HULL NEW THEATREAfter successfully bringing Dad's Army to the stage in 2008 Calibre Productions return with a real coup de theatre - the world stage premiere of the BBC's hit comedy Porridge.
Penned by the original writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais - the same fabulous team who gave us Auf Wiedersehn Pet - this hilarious new play features all your favourite characters from the original series.
Best known for his appearances in the TV comedy Extras and for playing the role of Barry in EastEnders, popular entertainer Shaun Williamson will be playing the iconic part of Fletcher.
So prepare for laughs-a-plenty as Fletch, Godber and the other inmates of Slade Prison take on the system under the nose of the ever suspicious Mr Mackay in what promises to be a sure-fire comic treat for the whole family.
