This section is about getting the ball rolling on a collection of funny stories about Hull, people that live here and people from here.
We aim to create a collection of stories written by the people, for the people to brighten up the lives of others.
Principally, we are looking for stories that are either true, or based on truth, and that have a connection to Hull within them. Along with this we are interested in amusing facts, or jokes connected to Hull.

Contributors can choose whether or not to be accredited with what they send us!
What Funny Hull is NOT about:
- Poking fun at our accent, so none of this "there's nur snur on the rurd" stuff please
- Poking fun at the city's performance in any league table: economic, educational, crime, health, sport, etc.
- An obituary to the late, great Rod Hull
- A collection of amusing tales about the watertight bodies of ships and boats.
- Bullying or slagging off people you didn't like at school
